Hello, my name is Dr. Thomas Knackstedt, and I’m a board-certified dermatologist and board-certified fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon at Peak Skin Center in Fuquay-Varina. I’m also the founder of Peak Skin Center, and I want to welcome you to our practice.

Peak Skin Center was founded in 2024 with the mission of improving the lives and the skin of the people that we touch every day. At Peak Skin Center, we recognize the trust that you place in us and in our expertise to diagnose and treat your skin conditions.

Peak Skin Center is a comprehensive, physician-owned dermatology practice. We provide general dermatology care, including acne, psoriasis, and eczema management; provide skin cancer screening exams; evaluate any new spot or lesion of concern that you may have; and provide surgical treatment of benign growths like cysts and lipomas, as well as cancerous growths including basal cell, squamous cell, and melanoma. We embrace evidence-based treatments and cutting edge technology to care for you and your skin. We offer extensive cosmetic and aesthetic services including facials, chemical peels, microneedling, wrinkle relaxers and laser resurfacing.

We provide specialty services including Mohs surgery for the treatment of skin cancers.
